Ortmark Art Advisory provides tailor-made independent advice on the purchase, collection and sale of contemporary art internationally. The firm was founded on the premise that too few of those who can actually buy art. Being convinced of art’s multiple positive impacts on individuals and society at large, the idea and mission is to act as a catalyst for new collectors, as well as to assist more experienced art collectors to refine and develop their collections.

 

Stefan Ortmark has spent three decades in the financial services industry including with UBS 2001-2019 and with SEB in London in the 1990s. During this time, he has spent most of his spare time looking at, reading about and collecting contemporary art. Stefan arranged art events for many years at UBS and has written on art for Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Industri, Artlover magazine and Connoisseur. He has a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and lives in Stockholm and Mallorca.
